Carers SA is committed to ensuring that children and young people feel safe, supported and respected. Carers SA has a zero tolerance of harm, or risk of harm against children and young people and prides itself on being a child safe organisation and in doing so, are currently undergoing the Child Wise national accreditation program. Many young carers have been involved in the accreditation process to date and Carers SA is committed to continue this dialogue with young people, whose important feedback and insight is critical.

Carers SA has launched an inaugural organisational Commitment to Child and Young Person Safety. Carers SA would like to seek feedback from young people about their views on the Commitment Statement especially if it connects with young people or whether there are suggestions and ideas to make it more child and young person friendly.

Carers SA is seeking feedback until October 30 2021.
