CALL TO ACTION – Recognition of Carers – Have your say!

Federal House of Representatives Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs has launched an Inquiry into the recognition of unpaid Carers.

This inquiry will examine the effectiveness of the Australian Carer Recognition Act 2010 in acknowledging and raising awareness of the important role of unpaid Carers in Australian society.

This inquiry has the potential to impact the Recognition of Carers by Government for many years to come.

This is an important CALL TO ACTION about improving the "Recognition of Carers" and Advocacy for all Carers. You can make a submission directly to the Inquiry = www.aph.gov.au/UnpaidCarers

Carers SA is offering Carers to centrally collect their thoughts and insights until 30 July and submit all responses together to the Inquiry.

Part 1: Short survey about the Recognition of South Australian Carers - this part will be summarised by Carers SA.
