In the first half of 2022, South Australia will have a State Election. In preparation for the election, Carers SA is preparing a Carer Advocacy document for election candidates, Ministers and leaders of Government Departments to highlight the core needs and wants of Carers.

• The principles underpinning Carers SA commitments are based on the feedback of the 2255 South Australian Carers who took part in the National Carer Survey 2020
• Carers SA has a unique opportunity to directly supply Carer's personal messages to politicians and decision makers.

This is a similar strategy to 2018 SA State Election, where Carers SA provided over 1200 personal Carer messages directly to all election candidates and Ministers.
